A.A. success rate?
Q: Are there any official statistics for the success rate of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) members achieving long-term sobriety?
A: No, due to the anonymous nature of the A.A. addiction recovery program, it’s impossible to survey its members because no one knows who they are, where they’ve been, or what they’ve been doing.
The A.A. success rate doesn’t matter anyway.
Founded in 1935 A.A. is the world’s oldest, most proven no-cost addiction recovery program.
If you follow the A.A. 12-Step program religiously, your chances of success approach 100 percent.
If you find the A.A. 12-Step program too difficult for you, your chances of relapse approach 100 percent.
So success/failure is all up to you, and you can’t blame the program if you relapse.
