Q: How can I save my family from my wife’s meth addiction?

A: You’re not going to like this answer, but it’s truth.

Your wife loves meth more than anything or anyone else, including you and your children.

Your wife will only stop abusing meth after she hits bottom.

Until she hits bottom, you should only offer her food and underwear, but never money or shelter.

That means: get her out of the house. Immediately. For the children.

I have been there and done that, and the good news is, we can recover from addiction and we do recover from addiction, after we hit bottom.

It’s counterintuitive, but the faster you hasten your wife’s journey to the bottom, the sooner she might get on the road to recovery, but there are no guarantees because meth is the Devil.

You harm everyone, including her, if you enable her addiction in any way.
